At the discretion of the outgoing ISBA President, certain individuals may be recognized for outstanding contributions to the administration of justice, the legal profession or their communities. The award recognizes someone who has "immeasurably dedicated their time and talent for the improvement of the legal profession and the citizens of Iowa". I think we can all agree she fits the bill perfectly and is an incredibly deserving recipient of this award. The people of Iowa are fortunate to have her as are we.
