I have practiced family law since 2007. After living and working in the Vancouver area for 10 years following law school, in 2017 I returned home to Vancouver Island and established Menzies Family Law in Victoria. I practice primarily as a Collaborative Law Professional and a certified Family Law Mediator. I believe these out of court processes promote the healthiest outcomes possible for all those involved; in particular, the children. I have extensive experience as an advocate and in negotiated settlements of family law cases involving parenting arrangements, division of family assets and debts, and support issues. I am compassionate and effective, and assist my clients in finding solutions to their separation and divorce issues, as efficiently as possible and on their own terms. I also assist my clients with estate and personal planning, including the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Representation Agreements. If you are looking for a mediator or divorce lawyer, I invite you to contact me to schedule a consultation. I can help you find the process that is best suited to resolving your unique separation. I serve clients throughout Greater Victoria, Vancouver Island, and Vancouver.
