Dr. Candice D. Saketkoo is a licensed psychologist with two doctoral degrees. She has earned both a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) with an emphasis on incorporating multiculturalism and diversity into clinical psychology and clinical neuropsychology. With over 30 years of clinical experience, she has worked in various medical, surgical, and psychiatric hospitals, including in a maximum-security state prison as the Director of Mental Health.

Dr. Saketkoo specializes in adult and geriatric clinical psychology, neuropsychology, behavioral medicine, rehabilitation psychology, and health psychology. More specifically, she treats individuals and families coping with psychosocial stressors including divorce as well as acute, chronic, and/or terminal conditions such as strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, neurological disease, cancer, cardiovascular disease, rheumatic and autoimmune disease, and psychiatric disorders utilizing culturally sensitive techniques.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Saketkoo is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator and a Qualified Parenting Coordinator. She has received advanced specialized training in Collaborative Practice, and has become accredited by the Florida Academy of Collaborative Professionals, serving as one of less than ten Accredited Collaborative Practice Neutral Facilitators in Florida. Dr. Saketkoo has also provided statewide, national, and international lectures and webinars on: Substance Abuse and How It May Affect the Collaborative Process; How Alcohol and Substance Abuse May Impede Informed Consent in the Collaborative Process; Neurobehavioral Responses to Trauma and Divorce; Neuro-Babble 101 and the Collaborative Process: Considerations for Informed Consent, Accessibility, and Practices; Florida Academy of Collaborative Professionals Collaborative Process Ethical Standards; Bee Collaborative; and Family Feud or Family Function: Ethics and Professionalism for Family Law Attorneys for the Washington DC Bar.

Some of Dr. Saketkoo’s organizational commitments include serving on the Board of Directors for the Florida Academy of Collaborative Professionals (FACP) and as Chair of FACP Best Practices Subcommittee, Chair and Editor of the FACP Newsletter, and FACP Practice Group Mentor. Dr. Saketkoo also serves on the FACP Outreach Committee and participated in the FACP 2021-2022 Leadership Institute. She is now serving as Co-Chair of the FACP 2023-2024 Leadership Institute. Additionally, Dr. Saketkoo serves on the Board of Directors and is Chair of the Education Committee for the Collaborative Family Law Institute as well as being a member of the South Palm Beach County Collaborative Law Group. Furthermore, Dr. Saketkoo is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility Committee and spearheaded a Tri-County Collaborative Law IDEA Committee comprised of Collaboratively trained attorneys, mental health professionals, and financial professionals. This effort ultimately expanded throughout the state of Florida, resulting in the FACP IDEA Committee, for which Dr. Saketkoo had previously served as Co-Chair.
