Profession(s)
Lawyer, MediatorI am a collaboratively trained lawyer, mediator, facilitator, trainer, consultant, and settlement specialist practicing in Washington and Oregon.
I provide a safe, coherent place for parties to my clients to feel comfortable resolving their disputes. I value transparency and fairness, and seek to ensure everyone involved in a dispute feels heard and understood, and has the information needed to make good decisions. I believe it is in my client's best interests to address the needs of all parties in settlement negotiations to ensure durable agreements are reached.
I am committed to peaceful conflict resolution for families in transition, as I have seen first-hand through my litigation practice the results of chronic conflict on children and adults alike.
Collaborative law allows family members in the midst of conflict to negotiate a settlement without going to court. Collaborative Law changes the culture of conflict resolution by allowing individuals to take control of their future as opposed to leaving decision–making about their lives to a judge.
