In collaborative practice, the prevailing goal is to assist clients and their families transition to their new normal thoughtfully and peacefully. A collaborative divorce process is a team approach that addresses the financial, emotional, logistical, and legal aspects that are inevitably part of the process.
This training will include:
- The values and skills required in the collaborative divorce process
- The roles of each member of a team such as attorneys and neutral professionals including family professionals, financial professionals and child specialists
- Successful examples
This training will be held online is 4 half day (8:30am - 12:30pm central) sessions September 24 & 25 and October 1 & 2.
Kristen Boldt Hall. As an integrative attorney and mediator, I take a servant leadership approach tot he law. I believe we do our best work when we strive to be healers rather than gladiators. I practice collaborative law because it aligns with my value that conflict resolution should be restorative rather than retributive. I am currently the president of the Central Iowa Collaborative Practice group.
