Profession(s)
LawyerI decided at a young age to pursue a career in the law, telling friends and family members since I was a teenager that I wanted to be a divorce attorney. After earning my degree in Criminology and Political Science from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, I graduated from William Mitchell College of Law, where I worked as a research assistant for the Dean of the college.
I am flexible in my approach with clients, working as a member of their team and providing advice while including them in the process every step of the way. I am a trained member of the Collaborative Law Institute, helping clients divorce with dignity and respect. I continue to be actively involved in the Collaborative Law Institute, including serving as a board member beginning in 2015. Where the collaborative process is not the right fit for clients, I provide advocacy through a court-based process. I am passionate about finding a process and result that is individualized for my client and meets their goals and needs.
