Jessica Felix has been practicing law since 2002, and, exclusively, in the area of Marital and Family Law since 2005. Prior to opening her own law firm, she was a partner at Older, Lundy & Alvarez where she proficiently litigated and mediated Marital and Family Law matters. Ms. Felix was also an associate of the law firm of Swope, Rodante, P.A. where she practiced in the areas of insurance coverage, insurance bad faith, personal injury, and product liability.

Ms. Felix completed her initial collaborative divorce training in 2010 and became a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator in 2015. Ms. Felix has also attending additional continuing education training in the area of collaborative divorce since being initially trained. Although her practice currently consists of mostly litigation matters, she encourages new client to consider the collaborative approach and alternative dispute resolution tools when considering divorce.

Ms. Felix is a member of the Florida Bar, the Middle District of Florida, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar and the Tampa Bay Academy of Collaborative Professionals. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Centre for Women and on the Executive Council for the Hillsborough County Bar Association Family Law Section.

Ms. Felix has authored several articles on family law related matters and has spoken at a number of continuing education courses regarding family law litigation, discovery and trial preparation.

Ms. Felix has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star in Family Law 2011-2016.

Ms. Felix earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Emory University in 1998; and her Juris Doctorate Degree, cum laude, from the Florida State University College of Law in 2002. While at Emory she worked with the Department of Psychiatry in a research-based preschool for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
