Profession(s)

Lawyer

Dorothy S. Langton is a founding partner of Curcillo & Langton, P.C., a law firm that provides a spectrum of services in several practice concentrations: Family Law, Real Estate, Business, and Estate Planning and Administration. Ms. Langton's multi-county practice focus, in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, is family law. While she has extensive trial experience, Ms. Langton strongly advocates alternative dispute resolution, including collaborative family law, whenever possible. Her trial experience enables her to identify for her clients the limitations inherent in litigating family law matters and to then explore with them the less damaging and more creative, client-driven avenues of issue resolution.

Ms. Langton currently serves as co-president of the Collaborative Law Professionals of Southeastern Pennsylvania (CLP), a dynamic and active network of attorneys, divorce coaches, child specialists, and financial specialists, who together service families in the Pennsylvania counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia. Ms. Langton and her fellow CLP team members are committed to promoting communication, rather than accusation, and cooperation, rather than divisiveness, and to fully supporting the family unit at all stages of separation and/or divorce.

Area(s) of Practice: Family law, including divorce, division of marital property, custody, support, prenuptial agreements, same-sex partnership and dissolution agreements, and protection from abuse/domestic violence.
License(s): Supreme Court of Pennsylvania Supreme Court of New Jersey U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania U.S. District Court, State of New Jersey U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit
