Profession(s)

Lawyer, Mediator

Believing that families are better equipped to make decisions regarding their future than courts, I have limited my practice to assisting families in the divorce process through non-court alternatives. Divorce is difficult but collaboration or mediation, with a full team supporting the family is the best way I know of to go through the process.

Comments

I was one of the first professionals to introduce the concept of Collaborative Divorce to Southern California. I am a founding member and past president of 'A Better Divorce', a multidisciplinary group located in the South Bay area of Los Angeles County. I serve on various committees at the regional, state and international level in promoting Collaborative Practice and am frequently asked to speak on this 'better way' to divorce.
