Lawyer, AttorneyI am the founder of Leo Law, a law firm focused on Family, Estate, and Bankruptcy. In my practice, I specialized in helping the most vulnerable - children, the elderly, and those below the poverty line.
I am also a computer programmer and Team Lead charged with using soft tech/pro ware to create the Montgomery County Juvenile Court’s E-Filing System.
In the past, I’ve worked at LexisNexis and at BakerHostetler. Annually, I teach a bankruptcy class at the University of Dayton School of Law.
In my spare time, I paint, code, build gaming computers, game, and write poetry. I’ve published a children’s book named Hello Friend! Under a pen name, I’ve published seven books of poetry.
Professional Activities
Nova is a dedicated Guardian Ad Litem representing the best interests of children involved in legal proceedings. She investigates their circumstances and makes recommendations to the Court based on what is in the child’s best interests. Nova has received numerous awards and accolades for her work, including recognition as a "Who's Who Attorney" in 2021, a "Top 100 Attorney" in 2022, and was featured in Voyage Ohio Magazine in 2023. Through her involvement in various organizations throughout the Cincinnati area, Nova has demonstrated her commitment to positively impacting her community and the legal profession. She sits on the Clermont County Mental Health and Recovery Board and the Clermont County Community Advocacy and Protection Board for Seniors. Nova is a founding Next-Gen Women in Law for Good Board member. She also volunteers with the Clermont County Adopt-A-Senior and Clermont County Parks District. Nova also annually teaches a guest lecture class at the Univesity of Dayton School of Law. She is involved in the Young Lawyers Section of the Cincinnati Bar Association and the Cincinnati Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society.Undergraduate Education
