Mr. Wilson is a collaborative law practitioner, mediator, family law private judge, volunteer Superior Court Judge Pro Tempore, family law legal consultant and [occasional] collaborative law trainer. He no longer accepts cases excepting within the foregoing classifications and no longer is undertaking new ligitation matters other than as a private judge. His practice is primarily venued within the greater San Francisco Bay Area but on occasion involves matters within the above classifications in other parts of the State of California. He was a founding member of The Collaborative Law Group in San Francisco in 1994 which was one of the first Collaborative Practice Groups in the United States. He remains active in the practice of Collaborative Law as a Member of the San Francisco Bay Area Collaborative Practice Group and The San Francisco Collaborative Law Group. He has been a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers [AAML] since 1981 and over the years has participated as a lecturer in continuing education seminars in various subject matter areas to divorce attorneys, mental health professionals and certified public accountants.
