Profession(s)

Mental Health Professional, Psychologist

I have been a psychotherapist in private practice for over thirty years and have worked with many families, teenagers from divorced families, divorcing couples and individuals going through the divorce process. I am now trained as a Collaborative Divorce Coach and work with individuals going through, or about to go through the collaborative process. In my coaching, I use a present to future approach, whereas in my therapy practice I use an approach that focuses on healing the past, so that it no longer impacts the present.
I am also trained in Somatic Experiencing work, which is my primary mode of coaching and/or therapy. Somatic Experiencing helps people to settle their nervous system and calm anxieties that they expeience. The overall sense of balance, calm, and presence are the goals coupled with future visioning work to look into and create the future that is desired.
