Elizabeth is a 25-year financial services professional, having served in the role of financial planner since 2000. Elizabeth holds a BA in Psychology and she obtained her CFP ® designation in 2004. She brings backgrounds from the banking industry, the dually registered RIA/ broker-dealer sector, and independent RIA space. After the 2008 financial collapse, Elizabeth became a vocal leader for financial services regulatory reform and the fiduciary standard, serving on The Financial Planning Association’s National Government Relations Council from 2009-2011.

Elizabeth’s passion for divorce planning was ignited in 2009 when she was first trained in Collaborative Practice. She served as a board member for the Memphis Collaborative Alliance and in 2015 she was appointed by the State of Tennessee Supreme Court as a Rule 31 Family Mediator. Elizabeth also holds the CDFA® designation. She is a member of King County Collaborative Law in Seattle. Her other professional interests include women and finance, financial therapy, estate administration, and behavioral finance. She is Principal and owner of Silver Linings Divorce Solutions, a comprehensive divorce financial planning solution center serving the greater Puget Sound Region. Elizabeth also serves divorcing clients in Tennessee.

Elizabeth is a born and bred southerner and she spent her life in both Atlanta and Memphis before she and her family relocated to Bainbridge Island in 2018. She adores living on an island so close (& yet so far away) to bustling Seattle. She is a mother to two teenagers and both she and her husband enjoy hiking, trail riding, kayaking, and generally anything involving the great outdoors.
