Profession(s)

Lawyer, Mediator

I dedicate my practice to family law matters, and I routinely handle complex equitable distribution, custody, relocation, and support cases as counsel to my clients in the collaborative process, negotiation, and litigation. As a Virginia Supreme Court Certified Mediator, I serve as a neutral, facilitating parties’ discussions and providing guidance and information necessary to help them reach resolution. I have earned the Martindale-Hubbell "AV" Preeminent Rating. I am the past Secretary and the current President Elect of the Collaborative Professionals of Northern Virginia.

Because I am an experienced, collaboratively trained attorney, certified mediator, negotiator, and litigator, I am able to tailor my services to meet your individual needs. Each family has a unique set of circumstances and should not be expected to fit into a pre-determined course of action. I will take the time to work with you to determine the best process for your situation, and I will deliver professional, compassionate and effective representation.

I feel very strongly that self-determination, security, and the opportunity for a strong restructured family are what make the collaborative process so beneficial to separating and divorcing parties and our society as a whole.
