Eshigo Okasili worked full time, attended law school part-time and volunteered with African-American Family Services, Legal Aid and Hennepin County Office of Multicultural Services in Minneapolis. These organizations provided legal services to people from diverse backgrounds with limited means. She had two children in law school and her third child in 2006. Eshigo graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, MN in 2003 and thereafter, devoted her time to raising her children. Eshigo was admitted to Maryland Court of Appeals in June 2009 and the United States Supreme Court in May 2013. In September 2009, she founded Law Office of Eshigo P. Okasili, LLC, a client-centered firm. Her practice focuses on Family and Civil Collaborative Law. Eshigo is fluent in French and serves her diverse clientele with compassion, empathy and respect.
