I have been practising family law in Aotearoa New Zealand for over 20 years. I am currently Chair of the Collaborative Resolution NZ (the Collaborative Law Association of NZ) - a growing and enthusiastic group of Collaborative Professionals in New Zealand. In 2002, I formed Family Law Results - a law firm that specialises in family law. In my practice, I strive to assist clients to find solutions to their family law issues outside of Court, using mediation and Collaborative Practice. From time to time I work as a contract lecturer at AUT University in the area of dispute resolution and I serve as a Collaborative Practice trainer for Collaborative Resolution NZ. I am fortunate to be regularly asked to speak in New Zealand about Collaborative Practice and family law. When time with two young adult children and a 10 year old son allows, I throw myself (involuntarily) into ditches from a mountain bike, cook, read, hike and blog about family law. You can read my blog and find out more at www.thefamilylawyer.co.nz.
