For experienced and active IACP Members who want to learn more about the Insight Approach to Conflict, beginning Monday, January 10, 2022, Jacinta will lead an online learning group to take a deep dive into working with conflict over the course of 5 weekly Monday sessions. The learning group will involve reading and reflection before and in between sessions to deepen your skill and challenge you to apply the Insight Approach in your work and life!

What is the Insight Approach to conflict and how is it important to YOU? The Insight Approach helps us notice conflict behaviors without assuming what is behind them, so that we can ask insightful questions to get at the heart of the matter. Working with the "Insight Approach" to conflict, we will learn to notice and effectively respond to conflict behaviors. We will learn how and when to ask questions to unearth the threats that escalate and sustain conflict, without provoking it, and how to use what is learned to promote an authentic shift from conflict to collaboration, without forcing or faking it.

Register now to be challenged professionally and personally, to not just tinker with what you already know, but to add another tool to your "toolbox" with the mentorship of an engaging and experienced Collaborative professional, Jacinta Gallant. Through the supportive, small group structure, participants will engage with the Insight Approach and learn how it transforms conflict - for you, the learner, and for the clients and teams (friends and family) you work with. Space is limited to 16 participants, register now to secure your spot!

Jacinta Gallant will lead this online learning group. As a Collaborative lawyer, mediator, and trainer from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada, Jacinta is a member of the IACP Training Faculty and is known as an engaging, insightful trainer in the international Collaborative Practice community. Through humor and humility, she loves the challenge of working with experienced professionals who want to deepen their skills to be more natural and authentic in practice.

As a student of Dr. Cheryl Picard, the founder of Insight Mediation, Jacinta has spent the past five years challenging her own thinking about conflict and applying Insight skills and approaches to her Collaborative and mediation practice by continuing to study and apply the principles and practices of Insight. Therefore, upon registering, pre-session reading and exercises will be provided in your confirmation receipt to also challenge your knowledge and application of Insight Approach. Cheryl’s book, Practicing Insight Mediation, will be required reading, so if you are interested in joining this learning group, please order it now through the links below:
