After 34 years of practicing family law, and 10 years of mediation, I realized that mediation was a better way for families to work out their agreements than litigation, and that collaborative divorce was an even better way for parties to be represented while still working out their own agreements and having more heads at the table to work toward a quality resolution that protects children and the parties.
