I am a licensed psychologist and have been in practice for over 20 years specializing in psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and families. I have helped countless children and families deal with the trauma of divorce and believe that collaborative divorce offers a new and respectful approach to this difficult process. By definition, it minimizes the damage that traditional litigated divorces often cause and allows families to be restructured rather than destroyed.

Comments: The model of Collaborative Divorce is a total shift in the way divorce has traditionally been accomplished in this country. This new model provides divorcing spouses with an inter-disciplinary team composed of two attorneys, a neutral mental health professional serving as a Divorce Coach and, if necessary, a Child Specialist and/or Financial Neutral. The goal is to help the couple move through the divorce process respectfully and cooperatively without the threat of lengthy and costly litigation. It aims to reconfigure the family in a new way, rather than destroy the family emotionally and financially. I am so excited to be a part of a Collaborative Practice Group that is dedicated to helping divorcing families navigate this difficult and painful process in a dignified and respectful way.
