Profession(s)
PsychologistI am a licensed psychologist, divorce coach, best-selling author, and expert in child-centered divorce. Over the 30 years of my clinical practice, I have helped countless children and families deal with the trauma of divorce and believe that collaborative divorce offers the best option for creating a respectful approach to this difficult process. By definition, it minimizes the damage that traditional litigated divorces often cause and allows families to be restructured rather than destroyed. It is my professional passion to protect as many children as I possibly can from the emotional damage that divorce can cause and I believe this is the best possible divorce process for accomplishing that goal.

Comments
The model of Collaborative Divorce is a total shift in the way divorce has traditionally been litigated. The goal is to help the couple move through the divorce process respectfully and cooperatively, without the threat of lengthy and costly (both emotionally and financially) litigation. It aims to reconfigure the family into two healthy homes and offers the greatest chance for the parents to maintain their ability to co-parent. I am so excited to be a part of a Collaborative Practice Group that is dedicated to helping divorcing families navigate this difficult and painful process in a dignified, respectful, and child centered way.
