Comments: I am dedicated to helping individuals minimize the financial and emotional costs of divorce, including what can be its devastating impacts on your family. The reason I love family law because it allows me to make a positive difference in people's lives at a critical time. I know that “winning” a divorce case means finding the best solution for everyone involved. To that end, collaborative law offers the best opportunity to craft solutions that work effectively for both spouses. The damage that is done to families and children by the litigation model has always disturbed me, and I have felt in my heart that there had to be a better way. Clearly, collaborative law is the better way. It is my hope that very soon collaborative family law will not be just an alternate dispute resolution method; it will be the primary method of negotiating divorce. It is a win-win for families.
