Patrice Courteau MA, LMFT is a Collaborative Divorce Coach and Child Specialist. She is a Member of Collaborative Divorce Solutions of Orange County and is presently the Vice President of this Practice Group. She dedicates many hours to Educating the Public of the benefits of Peaceful Resolutions for Divorce and is passionate about the positive attributes for the couple and the family, especially for the children of all ages, experiencing the divorce of their parents. Patrice works tirelessly to continue to grow in knowledge and expertise for her practice as well as for the benefit of her colleagues. She has been involved in the Train the Trainers Program to be qualified to train other professionals coming into Collaborative Practice as well as continuing to help provide enriched trainings for her Practice Group. She regularly teaches the Divorce Option Classes with a Collaborative Attorney and a Collaborative Financial Neutral.
Patrice began her teaching career as an Elementary School Teacher, in Irvine, California, after graduating from UCLA, University of California, Los Angeles. Her Graduate work in Education at the University of California, Irvine, Ca and in Psychology; Masters in Psychology and then Counseling Psychology at Pepperdine University, Malibu, Ca. lead to the private practice work as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Newport Beach, California. Working with individuals, couples, adolescents, children and families is still a passion for Patrice.
