Comments: I have dedicated my practice exclusively to collaborative law as soon as I completed my training in 2000. I had already been a mediator since 1982. I am passionate about educating consumers and colleagues about collaborative law. I will go anywhere to speak about this way of resolving disputes. I am the co-founder of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council and was the first President. I have been honored to be on the Board of IACP and was on the Executive Board as secretary for 2004, was president-elect and president in 2006-2007, representing IACP at the first European conference in Vienna in 2007. I was co-chair of the IACP 5th Annual Networking Forum in Boston in October of 2004. My desire is to bring high-quality training, at the introductory level, to communities that are ready to explore collaborative practice and then mentor those community leaders so that local groups will increase their capacity to provide high quality introductory trainings themselves. My hope is that collaborative practice groups will be committed to advanced learning, to always increasing their skills and, to that end, will invite senior trainers to bring their experiences, wisdom and skills to offer advanced learning opportunities.
