Tamara Kucik is a native Marylander and has lived in the Silver Spring & Kensington communities for over 20 years.

Prior to her career in real estate, Tamara served as a flight attendant for US Airways for seven years. After nearly a decade of sky-high service, Tamara pivoted in her career path and joined forces with The Humane Society of the United States as a research assistant & webmaster in the video department where she worked in animal advocacy and rescue from 1995 to 2004, becoming a licensed Realtor® later on in 2004.

Now with nearly 19 years in the industry, Tamara has consistently ranked among the leading real estate performers in the D.C. area, and in the top 10% of agents nationwide. Her team has managed to maintain over $60 million in sales every year since 2010.

Tamara consults local media who seek her thought leadership on the local real estate market and has also been recognized in the Top 12 of Long and Foster’s 14,000 agents nationwide, Washingtonian’s Best Real Estate Agents from 2015-2022, Bethesda Top Producer 2020-2022, The Wall Street Journal, and Real Trends from 2015-2022. She has also appeared on HGTV’s My House is Worth What? and Get it Sold.

From readying the home for sale to closing the transaction, Tamara oversees the entire process to ensure a smooth and timely experience. She provides her clients with a high level of customer service. Close attention to detail and an understanding of client needs have contributed to her success as a Realtor®. As a seller’s agent, Tamara knows what buyers look for in a home and presents strong offers that give her clients a competitive edge.

Tamara now resides in Kensington, Maryland with her husband George, their four kids (one fully launched, two off at college & one still in high school), and family pups, Boomer and Wally. Deeply believing in the power of strong communities, Tamara also serves as the President of the Kensington Estates Civic Association. Tamara and her husband enjoy volunteering at their children’s schools and take time to enjoy the outdoors on the local Rock Creek trails & Sugar Loaf Mountain. In her free time, Tamara is an avid oil painter, potter, and gardener.
