Caitlin is an Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has experience working with individuals, couples, groups, and families. Caitlin holds a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) and is currently working towards her MFT PhD. She has worked in both outpatient and non-profit therapeutic service settings serving clients aged eight to eighty addressing a broad range of presenting issues including grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, couple conflict, relational issues, substance use, life transitions, and more. She has experience providing equine-assisted psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, brief couple and family therapy and is trained to provide Collaborative Divorce consultations and therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families going through the Collaborative Divorce process.
She is a systemic, relational therapist who is passionate about helping client’s reach their goals while attending to the whole of the client and their system. Her therapeutic curiosity lies in relationships, in connections, and in searching for patterns which connect. She helps facilitate changes in her clients’ relationships – the relationships they have with themselves, each other, and with their problems. By inviting connections, offering invitations to encounter rather than negate problems, and by facilitating small shifts in patterns of interactions she supports her clients as they creatively question and shift the way they relate to their problems, others, and themselves.
Caitlin respects the integrity and wholeness of her clients and their experience and helps assist her clients to utilize their own strengths and resources throughout their therapeutic process. Caitlin moved from South Florida to St. Charles with her husband and dog. When not working, she enjoys horseback riding, dancing, and practicing yoga.
