Crystal was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago but immigrated to Canada to pursue her tertiary level education. She completed her Law Degree at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2008. She then relocated to Edmonton, and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2010. Crystal practices in the areas of family, criminal and immigration law and has developed her negotiation skills while navigating these three distinct areas of law. Her practice consists predominantly of family law matters, which, she firmly believes is where resolution through negotiation is the most cost efficient and ideal manner in approaching family disputes. Crystal hopes to gear her family law practice towards the collaborative law process as it enables the parties to effectively address the nuances of their personal matter, while considering the legal requirements. It affords clients the ability to achieve a tailor made resolution to their family matter.
