Profession(s)
Lawyer, MediatorAS A FOUNDER OF OUR LOCAL COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE GROUP AND A MATRIMONIAL ATTORNEY FOR OVER 25 YEARS, I REGARD COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE AS THE ANSWER TO MY HOPE FOR A BETTER WAY TO RESOLVE MARITAL AND FAMILY CONFLICT. IT IS ALSO A TACIT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT THAT OUR TRADITIONAL LEGAL SYSTEM HAS LEFT MUCH TO BE DESIRED IN THE WAY OF ACCOMMODATING THE REAL WORLD OF EMOTIONS AND PERSONAL NEEDS OF DIVORCING PEOPLE. IT HAS BEEN AS LIBERATING FOR ME AS A LAWYER AS IT HAS BEEN GOOD FOR MY CLIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE INTERDISCIPLINARY MODEL WHICH OUR PRACTICE GROUP FOLLOWS IS A SUPPORTIVE AND EFFICIENT TEAM APPROACH TO RESOLVING DIVORCE PROBLEMS. I LOOK FORWARD TO COLLABORATING WITH YOU.

Comments
I have been instrumental in developing the multi-disciplinary model of Collaborative Divorce in the Mid-Hudson Valley area of upstate New York. Our practice group, titled the Hudson Valley Collaborative Assn, Ltd. is now firmly established primarily in the counties of Dutchess, Ulster and Orange, NY. and is one of the oldest practice groups in the State of NY. We have introduced and promoted the entire concept of Collaborative Divorce/Law to the matrimonial bar, family-involved professionals and the public in our area. Our practice group has spun off an active and cohesive sub-group of trainers and for over 3 years now we have actively taught seminars on the related topics of Mediation for Collaborative Practitioners, Basic Collaborative Practice, and the Multi-Disciplinary model of Collaborative Practice.
