I am the managing partner in Blythe Paperless Certified Public Accountants, a principal in Collborative Divorce Kansas City and the managing principal and primary financial mediator in Divorce Financial Kansas City. I am experienced as a divorce financial mediator, collaborative financial neutral and Divorce Financial Analyst in the litigated divorce arena. I have considerable background in helping both divorcing parties gather information and develop budgets, in educating divorcing parties about their financial possibilities, in exploring financial options, in developing long-term financial projections, in analyzing tax issues and in preparing calculated business and pension valuations. As the financial mediator or neutral on the collaborative divorce team, I am able to help sort through and make sense of financial issues, provide understandable analysis of the short and long-term financial impact of different possible settlement proposals and move toward an equitable settlement so the clients can get on with their lives. I am committed to helping divorcing couples gather, organize, analyze, tax-effect and graph financial data and to help them reach a durable financial agreement that works. I have been a practicing independent certified public accountant and management consultant in greater Kansas City since 1987. My core competencies include litigation support in forensic accounting, long-term financial projections, divorce related tax issues, business valuation and business plan preparation as well as financial statement assurance services including audits, internal control, cash management and distressed company turnarounds and bailouts.
