AJ Skogerson is an attorney and consultant in Van Meter, Iowa, as well as Co-Founder of “The Law Shop by Skogerson McGinn LLC,” which specifically focuses on the providing of limited scope representation to its clients. Founded in 2017, The Law Shop is one of Iowa’s first 100% unbundled legal services firms. Its team now includes five attorneys and two full-time staff members and is growing rapidly. The Shop’s modern approach to providing today’s client market with greater options for high quality access to justice without sacrificing attorney well-being has made AJ and her partner Andrea McGinn increasingly popular presenters both in the U.S. and other countries.
AJ is also an Adjunct Professor at Drake University Law School. She is an active member and Past Chair of the Iowa State Bar Association (ISBA) Family & Juvenile Law Section. She has served with various other professional organizations and is currently a Board Member with the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
