Presents: Collaborative Process, A Different Approach A 2-DAY IACP INTRODUCTORY INTERDISCIPLINARY COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE TRAINING

Collaborative Process is a voluntary process in which parties commit to resolution without litigation, engaging a team of specially trained attorneys, mental health professionals and financial neutral.
Day 1 – Thursday, February 7, 2019, 8:30-5:00 Elements of Collaborative Practice, Role of all Professionals – Attorneys, Financial Neutrals, Coaches and Child Specialists, Meeting with Client, How the Team Works, Client Meetings, Building the Team, Paradigm Shift
Day 2 – Friday, February 8, 2019, 8:30-5:00 Coach and Client First Meeting with Client, Building the Collaborative Team, Video Demo of 5 Way Meeting, Breakout sessions, Reinforce the Team, Ethical Considerations, Guidelines, Agreements and Protocols for Team Effectiveness, Evaluations and Closing Breaks and team exercises throughout each day.
Lunch provided on both days.

Trainers: 
  • Lisa Alexander, BA, LLB, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada: Lisa's conflict resolution training began with alternative dispute resolution skills training at the University of Victoria Law School, followed by coursework at the Justice Institute of British Columbia and the Law Society of British Columbia. I refocused my law practice on family issues in the spring of 2003, having previously practiced general commercial and family law litigation. I am a former Directors of the BC Collaborative Roster Society, am the past co-chair and member of the executive of the Collaborative Divorce Association of Vancouver, and am active in the areas of public education and provincial team building.
  • Barbara Kelly, Ph.D. LLC, Maitland, Florida: Barbara's Professional Activities include: Founding Member and Board Member, Collaborative Family Law Group of Central Florida ~Committee Member, Professional Development Committee, IACP ~Affiliate Member, Florida Bar Association, Family Law Section.
