Team Identity and Team Effectiveness

Date and time:
November 1, 2018 - 7:00am to 10:15am
Event type:
Educational Opportunity

We know from research and from personal experience that effective teams are characterized by high levels of trust and comfort among members. These characteristics are easy to recognize but take real intention to create. This training, lead by Donna Younger, will examine proven strategies for building a sense of identity and belonging among team members that not only sustains long term relationships, but eases the introduction of new team members. We will take a close look at how these strategies relate to the nature of Collaborative teams and their definition of team success. This training will enable you to:
1. Identify ways our hard wiring is directly related to our performance on teams.
2. Recognize characteristics of cultures that generate strong and resilient teams.
3. Develop strategies that team members can employ to strengthen a team’s identity and effectiveness.
