Understanding and Delivering Peacemaking, Unbundled, Collaborative and Preventative Professional Services This first-ever Peace Institute is an intensive, interdisciplinary, three-day Institute for attorneys, mental health and financial professionals. • Learn concepts, values and perspectives of peacemaking, collaborative law, limited scope representation and preventative legal services; • Discuss the implications for confidentiality and preventive family professional services, and survey developments in conflict resolution and interdisciplinary teamwork; • Practice skills involved in these basic concepts; • Explore alternative role models and possible career opportunities in peacemaking, conflict resolution and interdisciplinary teamwork.

CLE/CPA/CE Credits The Peace Institute will provide a total of 22 CLE credits (including 3 ethics credits), 26 CPA credits or 22 CE credits. To earn the credits, attendance at all seminar sessions is mandatory, and constructive participation in seminar discussion and exercises is expected. Proactive participation is a cornerstone of this course.

Trainers: 

The Peace Institute will be led by Forrest “Woody” S. Mosten, a nationally renowned authority in dispute resolution. David A. Hoffman, author, educator and practitioner, will deliver the keynote address at the Friday night Peacemakers’ Dinner. Ample opportunities for networking with other peacemakers are planned.
