The Mental Health Professional in Collaborative Practice: A deeper exploration of our work

This workshop is available only to Mental Health Professionals who have completed their Interdisciplinary Collaborative Practice Training. Registrants will be social workers, psychologists, or psychotherapists, and a member of their respective college, and/or in compliance with the requirements of their local collaborative practice group. The training will be experiential, interactive, involving demos, exercises and role-plays.

You may register for either Part A or Part B, or both Part A & B.

Part A – The Mental Health Professional as Neutral Facilitator in a One Coach Model June 3 & 4 - 12:30pm – 3:30pm EST

An exploration of our facilitative role in the collaborative team

Part B - Parenting Plans Unpacked June 10 & 11 - 12:30pm-3:30pm EST

The Structure of a Parenting Plan
Children’s developmental needs in the creation of parenting schedules
Role as educator of the needs of children in separation/divorce
The Role of the Child Specialist - Bringing in the voice of the child
The impact of the law on parenting decisions
Structuring communication within the context of conflict
Use of break-out sessions
Focused therapeutic conversations
