The IACP and its international community have been invited to participate in the United Nations World Creativity and Innovation week (WCIW), from April 15th - April 21st, with April 21st, 2022, being World Creativity and Innovation Day. The theme this year is Collaboration, and our event is to promote one of the goals of the UN, which is to promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all, and build effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels. Joining us will be our MCLC President Patrice Brymner, and MCLC’s chair of the Education Committee Jen Hawthorne, with moderators Karen J. Levitt and Lauren DesForge.
This event is especially important in the world we live in today, and our April 14th meeting will be dedicated to being a part of this historic event as Collaborative Law practitioners, sharing our thoughts and having conversations about ways to think about bringing creativity and innovation into our communities as well as our professional work. We have extended the meeting time to allow for more in-depth conversation and breakout sessions.
