In this step-by-step, interactive two-day training, attendees will learn the Collaborative Law approach to conflict resolution and how to incorporate this revolutionary process into their practice. This program will be valuable to all professionals interested in transforming their dispute resolution practice, including attorneys, financial specialists, mental health professionals, and mediators.

Who should Attend: This training is designed for family law attorneys, psychologists, therapists and other mental health professionals, and financial professionals, child development and co-parenting specialists, and anyone assisting family clients in conflict.

Trainers: 

Morgan Keen Hecht, LCSW, LIMHP

Morgan is a licensed clinical social worker at the state level, as well as a Board Certified Diplomat at the national level. She is an owner/partner of Family Enrichment, Inc. She has practiced in the area of individual and family mental health plus child welfare for over 25 years at Family Enrichment. Her practice includes extensive experience with families in all stages of separation, divorce and post-divorce. Morgan has been working with the Collaborative Divorce process since its beginning in 2005 as both a divorce coach and a child specialist. She is a former co-chair of the local practice group and is a certified trainer for Collaborative Divorce.

 

Christine Lustgarten, JD

Christine started practicing law in 1993. Prior to entering private practice, Christine served as a Civil Deputy County Attorney at the Douglas County Attorney’s office. Christine’s practice focused on collaborative, divorce mediation and parenting plan mediation. She has helped hundreds of families through the dissolution process with the primary objective of  minimizing the negative impact on both the children and parents. As an affiliate of the Concord Mediation Center, Christine currently teaches the ‘What About the Children?’ and ‘Reach Beyond Conflict’ seminars to parents facing divorce.  Chris has been working with the Collaborative Divorce process since 2006. She is a former co-chair of the local practice group and is a certified trainer for Collaborative Divorce.

 

Tim Wagman, JD, CFP, CDFA

Tim is a Certified Financial Planner and Certified Divorce Financial Analysist with Wagman, Stewart & Associates, a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc.  Tim has been a Collaborative Divorce Financial Expert since 2007. Before working as a financial planner, Tim obtained his JD from Creighton University.  Tim is a current NACP Steering Committee member and is a certified trainer for Collaborative Divorce.
