This comprehensive training is designed to give each participant the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to mediate family matters. Through a combination of role play, lecture, demonstrations and discussions, the training covers every aspect of divorce and custody mediation, from the initial meeting through the separation agreement and uncontested hearing.
Breakout rooms will be utilized for role plays and exercises. The number of participants is limited to 18. There are some exciting games and exercises and the trainers are thrilled to have several guests presenters including: Sidney Horowitz, PhD; Beth Karassik, PhD; Laura Renfro, LMFT; Beth Roth, APRN, MSN; Barbara Stark, JD; and Liza Thayer, PhD.
