IACP and Karen S. Bonnell are pleased to present: 2022 Seminar Series:  Essentials of Co-Parent Coaching: A Marathon of Technique and Practice, for professionals seeking the next set of skills for working with families, coaching clients navigating separation/divorce or other adjustment issues related to family restructuring-including steps toward stepfamily.

Both active IACP members and non-members are welcome as you will receive advanced preparation in areas such as family law, family systems theory, or mediation/conflict resolution/peace-making course work. You will develop the specific skills for strengthening co-parenting relationships through parenting plan mediation and dispute resolution. 

You will roll up their sleeves and practice with the instructor and each other – this is an active, participative, experience-driven training. This training includes a 22-page comprehensive syllabus and an additional PDF of articles/resources. 

Topics to be covered during this virtual 15-hour training include:

  • Holistic Divorce as the Architecture …for Restructuring Families from Parents to Co-Parents to Step-Parents

  • What Happens When We Add the Divorce Team to a Family System,

  • Uncoupling: The Journey from Intimate Partners to Co-Parents

  • Separating Volume I from Volume II: Radical Acceptance of a New Family Reality

  • What ’s Best for Kids? Two Good-Enough Parents Engaged in & Caring for Children in One Home or Two

  • PP Mediation as a Process for Co-Parent Relationship Building 

Dates & times, Zoom meeting:  
Half-day: Thursday November 10th from 1pm-4:30pm, PST 
Full-days: Friday November 11th & Saturday November 12th, 2022. Virtual classroom opens for informal gathering at 8:30am PST, coursework from 9 am – 4:30 pm PST.

Registration is open to active IACP members and non-members:
IACP members: $550 USD
Non-IACP members: $575 USD

This seminar is limited to 30 participants.  Additional interested parties will be added to a waitlist and contacted by IACP if a space becomes available. Participants are expected to participate in ALL online sessions to be eligible to receive a certificate of attendance.
