Summary: The Paycheck Protection Program is a part of the Coronavirus Economic Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act passed in the United States on March 27.
The program provides for fast, forgivable loans to assist small businesses in surviving the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic. This program could help many of our practices, as small businesses, nonprofits, self-employed individuals, independent contractors, and sole-proprietors can qualify.
