Collaborative Practice began in the USA in 1992. There are more than 3,105 IACP members
and 227 Practice Groups throughout the country. Collaborative Practitioners in the USA have
many years of collective experience in dealing with divorce, separation and other family law
related matters, as well as estate and elder law, contract, employment, medical error and other
law matters. All IACP members share the deeply held belief that Collaborative Practice offers
the opportunity for resolving legal disputes in a dignified and respectful manner.
