Collaborative Practice in Canada

Collaborative Practice began in Canada in 1999. There are more than 450 IACP members
and 36 Practice Groups throughout the country. Collaborative Practitioners in Canada have
many years of collective experience in dealing with divorce, separation and other family law
related matters, as well as estate and elder law, contract, employment, medical error and other
law matters. All IACP members share the deeply held belief that Collaborative Practice offers
the opportunity for resolving legal disputes in a dignified and respectful manner.
