Barry M Weissman, CDFA
(Financial Professional)
As Principal & Owner of a fee-only consulting firm in St. Louis, for the past 20 years, Barry specialized in guiding clients through life-changing events including Divorce, Estate & Inheritance Issues, Business Succession, and Legal Settlements. Relationships built with clients over many years now include new generations, new challenges and issues.
Acting as the Financial Neutral within the Collaborative process, Barry offers the Mediator's approach in conjunction with powerful relationship building skills to achieve a financial understanding and agreement among the parties; trust and comfort level are established immediately.
A Unique Feature of the Financial Analysis: During the Property Settlement process, all current Estate Planning documents are reviewed and necessary revisions as a consequence of the Divorce are discussed. He also offers a review of the grandparents' Estate Planning Documents at no cost.
Working from the easel board to the latest versions of Sasi-Calc Pro, FinPlan, FinPlan Equal Shares, or the IDFA software, the financial resolution is rational, totally professional, and concludes on a timely basis.
Initial Consultation: No Charge
Hourly Fee: $250.00 Based on Combined Assets under $2 Million
$350.00 Combined Assets over $2 Million. Complex Cases.
Note: Pension Plan/Quadro valuations & terms and Business Valuations are performed by outside vendors that we might suggest but do not endorse. The client contracts with and is responsible for payment directly to the vendor. Barry M. Weissman & Associates will provide these valuations on a best guess estimate basis, an approximation that can only be used for illustrative or hypothetical purposes.

| General Comments |
| In Missouri and Illinois, my involvement over the years has been primarily as the Financial in Litigated Divorce proceedings. In Maryland, Norther Virginia, The District of Columbia and even in the surrounding region, the field of Collaborative Divorce is truly a gift to the couples and children involved in a divorce proceeding. At its best the process can be transformational. Working with the divorcing couple as well as a dynamic collaborative team is extremely rewarding. |
