Gandhi sad: 'The purpose of an attorney is to reunite hearts that have been divided.' As a collaborative lawyer, I try to practice from this philosophical perspective. I have been an attorney for 36 years and a mediator for 20 of those years. I have taught mediation for the past 15 years, and am in the 8th year of teaching mediation at Pacific McGeorge Law School. I offer training in narrative mediation for family and collaborative lawyers. I have been the Director of the Conciliation Court in Napa County California and have broad experience in custody mediation.
