    General Comments
My experience and training have involved participating in resolution of complex family conflict. The best outcomes are achieved where parents and partners are able to participate in shaping their futures (and that of their children) through respectful insightful dialogue that addresses their shared values. Guidance from collaborative attorneys, mental health/divorce specialists, child specialists, and financial specialists is essential for the transition to peaceful co-parenting.

I have been a dependency CASA (court appointed special advocate) and a victim's advocate in the anti-sexual assault and anti-domestic violence arenas. My passion has long been focused on the reduction of violence and non-productive conflict. In litigation I have worked with parents on both sides of domestic violence allegations to arrive at safe and respectful resolutions.

Prior to law school I worked for the King County Family Law Commissioners.

In law school I focused on the practice of transformative (open session) mediation. This form of mediation supports parents and partners in transforming their conflictual relationship to a respectful 'good neighbor' relationship.
