Debra Bellings-Kee, BA, JD, MFT
(Mental Health Professional)
As your coach or child specialist I bring to your collaborative team many years experience as a child and family psychotherapist, mediator, and family law attorney. I also have many years of personal experience blending a family of five children.
As your coach, I will assist you in moving through the collaborative process in a way that is centered on your needs. I will help you prepare a parenting plan that is developmentally appropriate for your child or children. As your child specialist, I will be the voice of your children in the collaborative meetings.
I trust in the good intentions and integrity of the collaborative process and our collaborative teams. Most importantly, I believe in the healing that can come from moving through family transitions in this way.

| General Comments |
In my former career as a family law attorney I was routinely saddened by the emotional turmoil to the family in the wake of a mother or father 'winning' in the courtroom. In my current career as a marriage family therapist, I am passionate about working collaboratively in this field as a divorce coach and child specialist to help our clients move through this process in a gentler fashion where in the end, the family wins.
I currently enjoy working on the CP-CAL Public Education Committee task force and the Public Education Committees with the Collaborative Family Law Professionals of Marin and Collaborative Practice of San Francisco.
