Since my initial 'awakening' as the 1st Collaboratively Team Trained Professional in southside Hampton Roads in 2006, my goal has been to share the benefits of the Interdiciplinary Collaborative Practice Model with other professionals and the public wherever I go. As a result of that original training, I had the priviledge of participating as the Neutral Financial Specialist in the first Collaborative Team Case in Virginia Beach in 2006, as well as subsequent team cases locally, in Richmond and Northern Virginia. I'm convinced that if couples are going to divorce, the Collaborative Process provides them with the most effective means of addressing the emotional, financial and legal issues in the divorce process while preserving important family relationships and resources.

| I became invloved in Collaborative Practice in 2005, completed Interdisciplinary Team Training May 2006 and again in November 2006, qualified as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) in June of that year, and completed Conflict Resoultion and Family Centered Mediation Training in 2006 as well. I am a Founding Member and Past Chair of Collaborative Divorce Solutions of Tidewater, a member of the Charlottesville Practice Group, a Founding Member and Chair of Virginia Collaborative Professionals (VaCP), and a Founding Member and Trainer with Collaborative Practice Training Institute (CPTI). I had the priviledge of serving as the Neutral Financial Specialist in 1st Collaborative Team Case in Southeastern Virginia. |
